At this open mic, singer-songwriter and Society for Humanistic Anthropology (SHA) Board Member Kristina Jacobsen will facilitate a space for anthropologists and ‘scholartists’ to share their creative talents and storytelling in spoken word, song, poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. All music genres and languages welcome. This is a continuation of a SHA tradition of providing a supportive environment by creative expression by humanistic anthropologists and others attending the AAA Conference. In the past this event has been held off-site at a bar or cafĂ© where there is a space more conducive to a performer and audience.
All are welcome!
